As of today and 11 years, 9 months and one day of my ZHP ownership, the only ones that have worked on her are the dealer and the tire store. At the tire store, a full picture set is taken of the wheels before and a walk through inspection with the service writer. I also do the pre walk threw at the dealership.
Yep! I hear ya Guy! I have a great relationship with Porsche Service at my dealer and on the most part at the Collision Center. They all know my car so what happened was an unfortunate accident that I am happy I was able to correct. As for the glass shop... that shop has installed two windshields on two separate BMWs that I have owned without so much of an issue so when it was time to do my Porsche I had no reason to expect this abortion from this glass shop... anyway, what is done is done and I have to deal with the end result but in the end that F-tard glass shop is paying a lot more than they bargained for thru their insurance... yes, I got so much more in frustration throughout the process. Enough so that going forward I too will be going to the dealer for any items I cannot do myself...

What’s the real shame is, I’d say maybe less than 10% of people have any pride or care for their cars. To most it like an expensive throw away.

I may have missed it, but why did you have the windshield replaced?

Def a bummer all around but at least it’s fixed and you have a BRAND NEW DASH in your car (which is awesome)

See the crack in the picture Jacob? That was given to my Porsche’s windshield when I was in upstate NY driving home from Calabogie this summer. That’s why I scheduled my windshield replacement then all this b***sh** unfolded thanks to some hack installer...

Hey Charlie, sucks that you had to go through all this time, aggravations, and frustration to get this resolved. I hope the second windshield reinstall goes better...

Ayan, it did suck and was very frustrating having to go thru all of this and I'm still not finished. I will have to have my windshield reinstalled because the glass shop botched this up as well.... As frustrating all of this was just to have a brand new windshield installed I will eventually get this all sorted and my Porsche will be perfect again...
