Oh, boy. I got all excited about this, I could flip it for a quick profit. But I googled the VIN and it came back with flood damage.

Interesting the owner says "clean" title when it's listed as Salvage on this site... https://autoauctions.io/public/96753...bmw-328i-sulev

Fredo, I've totalled out a few F30s for "flood damage." What would happen is the owner would drive through high water, suck it into the engine and the it would hydrolock. We were quoting long blocks and turbos so it wasn't uncommon. Because it was water related it got branded flooded even though it wasn't physically under water. Reading the description they bought it two years ago (making it 2-3yrs old and only 3k ish miles means it was probably more than just engine damage. Obviously the branded title doesn't differentiate between mechanical and electrical/cosmetic so for a flip I'd agree it's probably not worth it, but for a driver it might be worth looking into.

That seems really cheap, I wonder how much of the salvage title issue is reflected in that price.

Just needs a manual, sports seats, and swap out the wood trim and it'd be perfect
