Good eye, the ad formatting as been the same the whole time, so I completely missed where he added that note.

Seller says the codes have been cleared:

    1) Code: P0070: Ambient Temperature Sensor Malfunction…. Wiring was cockeyed in the socket. Disconnected and reconnected…. WALLA……. ‘’ IT WORKED ‘’
    2) Code: P0944; LOSS OF Hydraulic Pump Prime……. Added ¾ quart of trans fluid and cleared the Hydraulic pump issue… *** ALL CODES CLEARED *** and dash does not show a Check Engine / Service Engine light….

SMG M3’s can be bought dirt cheap these days. One just sold on BAT last week for around $11k. Granted, it had an accident history and CEL, but compared to 6-speeds in good condition selling in the low 20’s, a $10k M3 still seems like a steal.

Yep, then you drive it until the SMG pump dies then you either replace it or 6MT swap it.

Looks good. Carfax says the water and fuel pumps were replaced earlier this year.
