BimmerBrakes equal length. I haven't installed them but all headers smell sadly

Out of curiosity what is the going price for the BMW Performance exhaust? I may have one put away in storage that I have all intentions of putting on my car but I can't ever seem to get around to it. You know what they say "If the price is right".

I have the bmw performance muffler on my wife's zhp. It is a nice looking rear section but not much more noise then factory.

    Looks proper though.

I wouldn't know, you rarely see them pop up. There isn't much of a performance gain, it's mainly the sound that people are after, and as Vas says, there isn't much sound change. Maybe $100-150? Let's talk, I'm definitely interested if you're thinking of selling.

Did you post a comparison video for sound a while ago when you had it installed?

I've seen used Zhp stock mufflers sell for $100 - $200. The performance exhaust is worth a lot more than the stock exhaust simply due to demand, despite only marginal differences from stock.

Back when the flash sale was on the exhaust, I paid $200 for the bmw performance muffler. Sold the factory one on e46 fanatics for $200.

    Now they are more rare.

Sound wise the bmw performance is more of a deeper sound. Not louder then the factory exhaust but just a different tone. Mostly heard at idle or low revs.

Honestly the bmw performance muffler is what should have been on the zhp from the factory.

When I said "in storage" I wasn't kidding. It is buried along with everything else I own in a storage unit while my wife and I are staying with family. we will be moving onto our new place in July. Once I am settled in and the exhaust and everything else is out of storage I will decide if I am going to install it on my car. If I decide not to, it will be up here first.

I think this video shows it, and coincidentally the guy doesn't rev it high. The performance exhaust has a deeper, lower sounding tone.

I wonder how the Vibrant muffler sounds compared to these.
