New Mishimoto 330i Air Intake ??

Just read about it released in late feb this year, They did a dyno test but it has aftermarket headers so the graph shows test with after market headers compared to intake with aftermarket headers, it has a gain but im sure even without the headers it would still show a gain what do you guys think, Im thinking to pick one up there is a guy selling them for $232 free shipping on ebay with a make an offer so im sure he will go lower. seems like a pretty good design

Seems similar to aFe. I really wouldn't trust any dyno charts. I just assume the power and torque increases are negligible.

All that said, $232 isn't terrible at all.

Hey, I don't know if you ended up buying it but I got the injen one of amazon for $175 (free shipping). Most intakes I've seen for the e46 are pretty much the same with some having a completely covered heat-shield while others seal with the hood. And don't add any performance gains just sound IMO. I went with the one I got for the price.

that looks like it has better fitment than the aFe intake (which it was probably based off of)... the angle of the intake boot looks kink-free. very nice.

Are any of these intake kits CARB legal? I installed the Cosmos V2 intake & it sounds pretty good. Gonna have to re-install the stock stuff back on for SMOG tho. Any opinions on this one from Racing Dynamics? Looks like a good fit. Uses the factory inlet duct that draws air from the front of the car. Fairly cheap too.

to be honest, the angle of the filter looks much better on the injen intake above (versus the racing dynamics one).

I don't think any are CARB legal.

BOOOO! I'm sick of Cali! Smog, 10-round clips blah! Lol! I'll just keep my Cosmos one for now & re-install OEM when smogging
