    Palmer Motorsports Park - 06/26/2016

This was my first event at Palmer, so I had learned the track the previous day in my first two sessions. By the third session, I was already working on getting faster since I had a good grip on the track layout by then. Fourth session I was signed off to go solo by my instructor, which afforded me valuable "playing room" to try new things.

This was session 3 on day 2. I was trying different lines through Turns 1 and 9 in this video.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

I had to place my numbers on my rear windows, unfortunately, which I wanted to leave down because it was so hot. The best I could do was put my numbers in a way that would allow me to partially roll them down while keeping the numbers visible. I had gone out all four sessions on the previous day with the window partially down, as well as the first two sessions that day, and it wasn't until the third session (when the video took place) that they wanted me to roll them up, which is why I said "Really?". lol

It is my new favorite, with Calabogie being a close second. Very pretty, one of the very few perks of being in the Northeast.

The camera was free - I won it by winning my class at my local Auto-X club a few years ago, so I'm not complaining at all. GoPro Hero 3 --
It still does its job well so I'm not sure if it's worth upgrading yet!

Wait a minute. It's a GoPro hero3?! Then I think you need to set the setting to 720p60fps!!
