I like it, it ads a bit of thickness to the wheel so that is nice. But it's not perfect by any means. Easily has the potential to be if the manufacturer would make a minor adjustment to the pattern and or stitching.

(Pattern just doesn't line up in one area and stitching is not symmetrical )

When I reached out to the ebay seller, they responded in similar fashion to Eonon, if you've ever dealt with them. i.e.; suggesting I remove the cover and try again, I'm not gonna lie when I realized the issue was there the first attempt I unstitched the wheel and started over again even went as far as to work from the opposite side. On that attempt I realized they had the pattern off and the stitching did not line up on both sides. So I got creative with the threading to get a tight fit. It looks everywhere except the right side around the top of 3 o'clock spot.

The leather is starting to fatigue in that area, but all in all money well spent.

Was it pretty easy? Did you have to shave off some of the plastic?

Interested in your thoughts after some time behind the wheel with it.

The intake manifold needs a bit of work with a file, may have taken 2-3 minutes. The fuel rail cover needed a little bit of work as well. I'll post more detailed photos when I'm at a desktop.

2 SB controllers were sacrificed for the sport button mod. Desoldering/ Soldering small circuitry is difficult without the proper equipment.

Squeezing the front mounts for as much camber as they can yield. I need plates ...

I may get crap for this but, my mounts were pretty beat, lotta unnecessary movement and the occasional pop out of 6th gear... while I really wanted these. from Black Forest industries.

    I ended up purchasing these

I know I know, "Megan racing" "ebay" "junk" etc. but I wanted to give them a shot,

They claim to be a poly/rubber mix??? Not sure what that means.

The motor mounts are much smaller dimensionally, they weigh a bit more, the keying on the mounts is in the correct place. They installed as easy as any set of mounts. I thought it best to keep the factory heat shield in place.

The trans mounts were a bit different than I'm used to seeing, almost like a washer or plate is suspended between the two ends. But they too were keyed correct and mounted fine.

Start up I noticed only that the shifter seemed to vibrate less, not that it vibrated a lot to begin with. Driving around town there is no more clunk from sudden acceleration. I had written the accelerating clunk off as being caused by the akg diff bushings and limited slip diff.

    No negative NVH to note.

And tomorrow they will be at the track!!!

I also installed a UUC clutch stop. Had to cut a bit off to get the right mounting depth for the clutch switch to engage.

I gotta say I can't believe I didn't buy the clutch stop sooner.

Excited to hear how you like the cheapo mounts!

You can disable the clutch switch requirement in PA Soft btw. Spenser and I had to do that to use our UUC clutch stops.
