I do wish the aFe cover was black. If I ever find myself getting something powder coated I’ll probably add that to my order.

I thought about that, too. Did it hold up?

The wrinkle coat they sell at parts stores (vht/duplicolor) holds up nicely and has a nice look to it. Very similar to the finish in the injen intake. I have used both quite a bit on other cars.

Installed a set of AKG 75D FCABs lad night. Initial impressions are; I should have done this sooner, and why would anyone go on track with stock FCA Bushings? Between these and the new steering couplet there is no play in the wheel.

    James' TiAg daily

Installed a 5th belt or anti sun belt to go along with the Schroth quickfit pro setup.

Removed seat, welded 1/2 a chain link to the rear seat base frame, hit it with some black rust preventer, routed the sub belt, de-seamed the thigh support at the seat. Voila!!!

They worked great at the HPDE on Saturday at NCCAR.

And this is them between events

Over the past few weeks and since my last track event, I have noticed a creaking in the front. It seems to be more pronounced when going over uneven surfaces and with slight steering input.

It sounds like an old creaky ship and it’s driving me absolutely crazy.

    Any ideas from members here?

Front control arms did not fix it. FCABS are AKG and New. Front strut mounts were done with struts. Probably throwing inner and outer tie rods in tomorrow morning.
