    Jeff, I have compound and an orbital polisher if you want to borrow / try.
    325i, 2005, 5MT, Silvergrey, leatherette, Sport package; CDV delete, KONI STR-T & KYB Excel-G, Weisslichts, Stewart H2O pump

    328i, 2010, 6MT, Spacegrey, dakota leather, M-sport packages; has a 330 intake but no tune - yet

    Thanks Oli. I tried hand rubbing some compound, without much success. I think she's just going to have to live with it.

    You need a machine buff, a body shop should have the compounds and tools. I recently had them buff out something similar on my truck, cost me $20 for lunch.

    +1, I did this to my girlfriend's Mazda Protege5 after she scraped it on a pole in her apartment parking lot. The car is already dented like crazy and has peeling clear coat, so I just threw some polishing compound on a friend's orbital and it came right off.
