    Want to buy Gage Cluster

Where is a good place to buy a new gage cluster? I have a 2005 automatic sedan. Does anyone know an outlet for discounted OEM parts.
    Thanks for your help

If you want to go cheap you could post a for sale ad on various BMW forums, search forum classifieds for part out cars, or look locally (Craigslist, etc) for scrap yards.

I would like to buy new so I don't duplicate the issues I am currently having (other electronic functions not working but the electronics are tied to gage cluster)

Dealership is about $1200, and I don't want to be their profit center...just hoping these might be an outlet that isn't quite so proud of their OEM parts.

My ZHP only has 88,000 miles and I don't want to have any indicators flag attention to possible mileage fraud when I try to sell it in the future

New OEM will cost you, no matter what the source, i.e. Dealer or a BMW parts specialist

You can get a quality used one that has been coded to your car and will be reset to "new" that will download the mileage from your ECM once you plug the cluster into your car.

Chances are your cluster is fine - these rarely go bad. What is the problem you're having?

I bought one off eBay for $120. My cluster had intermittent issues as well. It would die and freeze. The mileage is not correct but if I plug the old one in the mileage corrects itself.

It's not super hard to virginize the clusters so that it syncs itself with the lcm

I have a spare that has been virginized but its for a manual so it wouldn't have the gear indicator on it that the automatic clusters have
Dinan CAI &Throttle body, ESS Tuning TS2, Bimmerbrakes gen3 headers, UUC SSK & DSSR. Achilles oil pump, VAC oil pan baffle
M3 Motor mounts, UUC Trans mounts, Modified clutch style LSD 3.15, TMS front subframe reinforcement, Koni Yellow sports,
    H&R sport springs,
UUC sway bars, BMW Perf. Rotors, UUC SS brake lines, Hawk HPS pads, CSL replica wheels,
Rotora strut bar, FXR HID conversion, M3 Mirror conversion, BSW stage 1 speakers

    Great input, thanks everyone
My air conditioning stopped working one afternoon. A day or two later my Gage's quite working. Some functions returned but the gage lights quit working, turn indicators work, but don't show functioning in the cluster. Close enjoin light works, airbag and seatbelt light still work, but odometer doesn't work.
The BMW dealer says it's tied to the canbus system and some of the module in the gage cluster control the air conditioner and some of the Gage lights
