    2005 330i ZHP automatic - 72K miles - Silver Gray/Black Leather - $11,800

2003 BMW 330 ZHPs For Sale
2004 BMW 330 ZHPs For Sale
2005 BMW 330 ZHPs For Sale
2006 BMW 330 ZHPs For Sale
Long post here, but I tried to capture all the information I’d want to know when buying a used BMW. I know most of you already have a ZHP, but I figured to post it here anyway.

This was a real tough post to submit, but after 13+ years of daily driving an E46 it was time to move on to something different. I hope I don't regret this. The condition is outstanding inside & out and all maintenance is current.

    Misc info -

    3rd owner - purchased in October 2010
Clean title in hand/no accidents/non-smoker/no pets
OEM rubber floor mats - front, rear, & trunk
    OEM homelink w/ rolling codes
    OEM iPod adaptor
BMW Performance aluminum pedal set + deal pedal
    Bimmian keyhole delete
    Coby Wheel - OEM gray w/ ///M tri-stitch, about 10K miles/like-new condition
Michelin Pilot Super Sports - a little under 7K miles
2 spare sets of OEM wiper inserts (since discontinued by BMW)
Front plate delete strip is installed, but OEM plate mount will be included
    I only have 1 key
Will include Dr. Colorchip touch up paint/Silver Gray Metallic

    Factory specs -

    2005 BMW 330i - WBAEV53455KM39920 (build date 9/21/2004)
Silver Gray Metallic/Black Leather/ Silver Cube Trim
    Performance Package
    Cold Weather Package
    Steptronic
    Moonroof
    Leather
    Xenons (FX-r retrofit)
    H/K

    Maintenance history -

I'm not a DIY'er. All maintenance/repairs done by BMW Seattle (only exception is VCG - noted below) - I have every receipt since taking ownership in 2010. This car has been dealer maintained since new - the original owner paid for the extended maintenance plan (2 extra years beyond standard 4 year service plan) which was still valid for the 1st 2 months of my ownership.
51,565 miles - replaced thermostat, turn off DRL's
53,282 miles - replaced windshield washer pump, cooling system overhaul (water pump, upper & lower radiator hoses, radiator cap, temperature sensor, expansion tank, & thermostat), and power steering pressure and supply hoses
54,000 miles (approximately) - new front windshield/brand = Pilkington (original had multiple rock chips)
54,995 miles - oil change service
58,751 miles - VCG (performed by Strictly BMW in Bellevue WA, local independent shop)
61,149 miles - oil change service
63,000 miles (approximately) - FX-r projector retrofit + new Phillips 85122+ bulbs. Retrofit work done by Lightwerkz in NJ. Light output considerably better than stock, and of course no worries about burnt ZKW projector bowls.
65,112 miles - replaced FCAB's, oil level sensor, and fan clutch
65,232 miles - new Michelin PSS, front & rear, OEM sizes
67,339 miles - replaced serpentine belt tensioner, idler pulleys, and OFHG
68,261 miles - passenger airbag recall performed, replaced belt tensioner and pulley again (cold start squealing issues persisted, dealer replaced same belts from prior visit, which still did not resolve issue)
70,070 miles - engine oil service, replaced A/C belt & other belt (part # on receipt refers to serpentine, but that was already done twice). Essentially I replaced every belt which finally eliminated the cold start squealing issues.
70,200 miles (approximately) - new battery, Duralast 49-DL
70,070 miles - replaced front driver window regulator (by mistake, should have replaced passenger regulator)
70,685 miles - replaced front passenger window regulator, engine oil service
72,600 miles - current mileage (as of today, but it rarely gets driven)

    Items to call out -

-67,339 miles – very slight leak at power steering pressure hose (apparently there are 2 of these, I replaced one of them at 53K miles). My SA and tech advised it’s not worth replacing at this time, and it’s not been called out in subsequent visits.
-Moonroof works, but is sometimes slow to close (common E46 problem area). Concerns confirmed by dealer but cannot specifically diagnose/fix without first pulling the roof apart. I don't use the moonroof so have not pursued this further
-Still waiting on driver's side airbag recall

    Condition -

Overall condition is outstanding for an 11 year old vehicle. Some minor chips on the front end. No door dings. No curb rash on any of the wheels, though some have some peeling of the finish in places. The only item worth noting is some small indentations on the rear passenger wheel arch (noted in pics). It's very hard to notice. This is the only blemish worth noting on the exterior. Interior condition is outstanding as well. The silver-cube trim is pretty much new condition. The storage doors on the center console behind the shifter are scratch free - they look new.

FWIW I just bought a 2009 M3 with less miles and it's condition is not nearly as nice as this 2005 330i - the next owner will not be disappointed.

    $11,800

Thanks for looking – let me know if you have questions.

Hmm, sorry about that. Not sure why those didn't work.

I created a shared album and provided a link. Hopefully you guys can access them now?

GLWS! I love seeing someone else put love and time into their automatic as well. I firmly believe these transmissions can last forever if maintained!

Thanks guys - appreciate it. Would really like to see an enthusiast purchase it, but most of you already have ZHPs and/or want a manual. I reluctantly just posted it on CL.

slater, my M3 is a DCT sedan, Interlagos Blue.
