    Hello from Northern California!

    Hey everyone,

Just fell into the market for a ZHP coupe after considering E36 and E46 M3s. I think a ZHP would be more reasonable and a better fit. Figured I'd join the site to gain some knowledge and insight before making a purchase. I've already read through the FAQ and a few other informative threads. So far so good!

I'll make a WTB ad later, but my perfect spec would be an AW ZHP Coupe 6MT Alcantara interior, maintained, reasonably low miles for $8-12k.

I feel as though the well cared for and sorted cars are hard to come by and don't pop up all too often so I may be on the hunt for awhile.

Welcome, and good luck with your search! You'll definitely need to exercise some patience since there were only 37 ZHPs made in that configuration for the US. It took me 6+ months of daily searching to find mine. Just be prepared to move quickly once you do find one that checks all the right boxes.

If you can handle black exterior, you could go with this one just listed:

    Thanks everyone!

I knew I was being picky, but didn't know I was 37 nationwide picky. Though that's absolute best case scenario.

Welcome! Good Luck in your Search. Where abouts in NorCal? I use to live in San Francisco and life has brought me south down the coast even though I wanted to go north!

    Appreciate it all.

San Francisco or San Jose dependent upon the day of the week! I don't blame you, it's quite nice up here.
