Just watched your video:
1. Those gauges are clean af. I digg.
2. Referring to your comment at the end of the video on how loud it is: "yeah, I could do with it every once in a while..."

just sayin
yes, i do - but it doesn't do much, and my garage is uninsulated. that said, it was -15ºC outside, so there is some insulating properties to the garage.
-7ºC was about as cold as it got in the garage, which is good considering last year when it was -15ºC outside, it would be about -14ºC inside. i've removed all of the old wooden siding from the garage, sheeted it and house-wrapped it (it's getting siding ASAP), and a new garage door seal....so that alone has made a big difference. i have insulated coveralls, i wear a winter hat, and i wear two pairs of gloves. all of this insures i can actually feel my body parts...
thanks man... the canadian gauges are so much cleaner yeah!
that link is definitely interesting.... i will have to think about that.

I used a propane forced air heater (aka salamander) in my garage up north. It burns really clean and uses the same tank as my grill. It was only $99 at Home Depot. Kept the garage toasty

WOOOO
buttoned it up last night and took it for a test drive.... i got the alignment surprisingly pretty close (new tie rods), and the RTD shifter is SO nice, albeit quite noisy. solid rear subframe mounts transmit even more noise - i think i'm actually going to look at doing some sound-proofing under the rear seat (i had to toss most of the factory stuff because it just crumbled to bits).
the car feels great, but a new clutch means i have to take it easy for the break-in period.... more challenges.
i do have a strange click/clack from the trans when i release the clutch quickly in neutral - not sure what that is. but the clutch and flywheel feel good - like OEM, without the rubberband-ness of the DMF. there is basically no drivetrain slack in this car now, except for the flex disc on the driveshaft, LOL. throttle response is immediate.
i made some suspension changes, i will post on them tomorrow. happy sunday everyone!
