    i like both with and without.... so not sure how it'll end up staying yet. going to keep them off for a week and see how it goes.

    ha. maybe! i'd like to come up with a nice way of closing up the holes in the 'winter' trim () instead of buying the naked trim. certainly would be cheaper.

    Yes I brought new ones from bmw. 280€ for all the bits. They came in black.

    yep, that's what my research shows as well. i likely wouldn't paint them, but might wrap them in some vinyl that is gloss black, to match the door trim. it's definitely the nicer way to go (buying new trim).
