yes it does. you just have to make sure you use a flywheel that accepts a flywheel mounted pilot bearing. the M54 6 speed ZF transmission has an input shaft that uses a flywheel mounted pilot bearing compared to other S50/2/4 motors that use crank shaft mounted pilot bearings.
should be able to just use and install your M54 flywheel and clutch setup and retain your 6 speef ZF tranny and rest of the driveline. would help keep costs down too.
The Getrag transmission is slightly taller in gears and has a longer 6th. Barely.
