Got the right side marker off last night (that thing was really stuck in place). Used my headlight restoration kit and some Dlux to protect it. Pretty significant difference.

I meant to ask if you were going to use the UV protection in the kit or Dlux. I mean, I knew the answer, but it would have been cool to see a comparison between the two as far as how they look in a year.

Cquartz Dlux is a ceramic coating for wheels and trim. It helps rejuvenate black plastic trim, and adds UV protection/hydrophobic characteristics. It makes cleaning wheels MUCH simpler.
I only recently discovered it can be used on headlights and clear plastics.

My plan is to use a 4" pad on my 7424XP, and use Meg's PlastX. Then I'll seal it in with Dlux. Same for the side mirror bases.awesome. i gotta get some of this stuff.
next up - teach us how to polish shadowline trim!
I'm pulling trim to replace the window seals (which FedEx should be delivering today) this weekend, so I'll be polishing the trim and the paint behind the trim when I have it all pulled apart.
