I'm thinking of getting 8.5et38 up front and 9et42 in the rear. Anyone running that size? Know if they fit on a lowered car?

I added my name to the feeler list. Gave it some thought about sizing as well and decided to go with the same sizing you had mentioned. Car is lowered as well
There is really no need IMO. Unless you plan to run like a 255 section width front and wear.
A 245 section width fits well on a 8.5" rim but a 245/35/18 has a smaller sidewall which is not always a good idea.
