    Crazy Idea and need help

I just picked up the Sprint EVO, and wanted to know if it would be possible to get the wireless charging to work by having the phone sit in the euro tray and charge through the plastic. I would mount the charger just below the plastic, or try to mount it into it. One issue would be power source, with an off switch when power is off which shouldn't be a problem.

Other issue is fitment. Does any1 have the euro tray and know the interior dimensions???

Well, I have no idea how wireless charging works with the EVO. I would start off by taking apart your center console, and testing the phone to make sure it'll charge through the euro tray before you hardwire anything. If it does work, it'd be best to get a car charger from powermat (i'm assuming that's how you're charging it). You can tap into the bluetooth power down there, which is a switched source.

The one thing I'd be concerned about is having enough depth to mount the charger.

The biggest hurdle i think will be getting the phone to fit the console since they have to match pretty closely. I can then see if the powermat will work if it's under the console cause then the phone will fit for sure, if not i'd cut the plastic out and mount it in there. Somoene here must have the euro tray and can take measurements for me. plz.

    Roughly 6 1/4" x 2 3/4". It tapers from top to bottom.

I've read the euro tray has been hard to come by. Ie-Stock issues in Germany.
Check with Jason or Evan at Tischer before ordering.
