I probably ordered the wrong ones from ECS. All is good though.

Didn't ole Jon have some extra fluids?
No extra unfortunately Bruce :-) . Larrys frustrations were like non existent. Had experience on extracting broken head bolts from a block in tight spaces. THATS a lot of cussing . Larry didn't like me laughing though lol

You are 100% right. Magic Eraser is well...Magic!

    Here is a shot afterward:

And on the mirror trim, looks brand new.

    Thanks!

Wow. What a saga! Glad you overcame.

I get my redline at Car Quest (own d by Advance). They usually have it the next day.

Oooh I might use the magic eraser for my mirror trim. Does it need some sort of sealant afterwards?

I didn't add any sealant to mine and have washed my car 2 to 3 times and they still look great.

Sounds like I'm going to have to try the Mr. Clean magic eraser trick as well, my trim needs to be cleaned up. Those erasers are truly magic, they work on everything!

How much did the dealership charge you for that transmission fluid?

I'm embarrassed to admit they charged $44 a bottle. Highway robbery. I could have waited until Monday and got a 2nd bottle of redline MTL for $16. But I was frustrated that my car was stranded and naked without its oil. So I paid the high cost but was happy and relieved to finish the job.

Yikes! That's outrageous, I figured it'd be spendy but that's just crazy. Guess I'll be going with Redline as well!
