    Will these tires fit?

Hey all, I'm looking for some Winter tires. I found some on Craigslist and the seller says they are "18" Michelin Snow Tires 245/40R18 And Wheels by Sport Edition" for $540 (new). From the pictures (https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/wto/5992642481.html) they look like Michelin Pilot Alpin A4.

Would these be good tires for my ZHP (2004 sedan)?

those will be almost 1" taller than the stock size. they will fit, but will be huge.

the wheels - no idea. the ad says they came from a porsche dealership?

Not to mention 245 is wider than most people do their summers. you want skinny 225 or 215's for winter up in the snow.

Regardless of these fit, I'd say pass.

Good call, thanks, told the seller nevermind. How about these?

Other option I'm considering is getting these two:

then finding a way to get the X-Ice tires on the BMW rims... (contacted tire seller and they're not selling the wheels)

Both look like they'll work. Just make sure the first doesn't require adaptors

those x-ice's are awesome tires (i run them) but those ones are way too tall.

go for the ugly wheels with the blizzaks...

The X-Ice says its for 17", does the 225 make it tall?

The 225/55 makes it tall. I have 205/55s on a 16" wheel, so those would seem a bit tall by a large margin.

    Yeah too tall.

I always ran 18" winters in Wisconsin and Chicago. 225/45 never failed me.

Means likely 215/50 is the 17" equivalent
