    E9x Homelink Mirror

Selling this E90 auto-dimming mirror with Homelink and "hidden" compass. Has the low-profile clown nose, and glass is blemish free. All features function flawlessly. This was completely plug-and-play on my coupe, but might require slight (albeit easy) modification to your harness depending on your car.
*Please note this will not work with verts*

    SOLD!

GLWS. I think modification is necessary if your car didn't come with the Premium Package.

I would have gone with this one if I could find one this cheap. I used the other E9x mirror that has the visible compass and more prominent clown nose.

What's the difference? Would this one not work on my sedan? I've been looking for one of these... I'm sure there is a DIY out there to make it work?

I had to modify mine a bit. I went to check the guide I used (I linked to it in my project thread) but it seems the guy who posted it is no longer paying his hosting fees for his website. At any rate, it'll work on your sedan just fine, you just have to do some wire splicing/taps to power the autodim/compass/HomeLink.

My e90 came with Homelink. It didn't work to open the garage door at my old house. Now we have the X3, and its Homelink doesn't work to open my "new" garage door either. In summary, I had no luck using Homelink on 2 different cars.

I think there are separate procedures for garage doors with rolling codes vs non-rolling (standard) codes. You might try them out: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=384653

That one is much more comprehensive than the guide I used. Good find.

    Shop Advance Auto Parts
When I bought my ZHP 5 years ago (is it possible it's been that long???) I wanted to add Homelink. At first I was going to add the standard module that goes in the roof, they're cheap and plentiful on Ebay. But I found a vert mirror with Homelink in the mirror, had a bubble in it fixed by radar-mirror.dom, and voila, I had a fresh mirror with Homelink, in E46 spec. But those don't turn up all that often, I got lucky.
