I give up! What are these?

I hate to throw in the towel on what should be a simple search, but I cannot figure out what the little rubber spacers/pads/clips/bumpers are that attach to the edges of the hood's under-side. These things are about 3/4" long and clip to the edge of the hood sides. The function seems to be to either space or cushion the hood against the fenders. I have Googled all kinds of search criteria, visited supplier websites, searched here, and scoured RealOEM and have found nary a mention or pic. These things fall off pretty easy, so I'd also think they're a commonly replaced part. I'd greatly appreciate an assist here...

Thanks, but those are NOT the part. The part I'm looking for looks like a small (3/4" long x 1/4" wide x 1/2" deep) rubber clip (C-shaped) that pushes onto the bottom edge of the hood--along the sides of the hood. Maybe I better post a pic.

Nope - it's this piece. I had one fall off past weekend when drying the hood: bump stop 51-23-8-247-699
