Will 12mm spacers fit our unmodified cars without rubbing?

Just like it says- will 12mm spacers fit our unmodified cars without rubbing? I was just about to buy a set of four when another thread here contained discussion of how rubbing was a problem.

I'd like to know: if my car has original wheels and no suspension mods, what spacer sizes will work? Hoping to install 12mm all around.

original tire sizes? are you still with the standard staggered, or did you do a square set up with the zhp wheels?

Yes 12.5 all around is probably the ideal fitment. 15 will likely yield rubbing on heavy compression, but 12(.5) should be fine.

Search around for spacer results from others. It sounds like 12mm might rub in the rear with PSS's due to their wide, blocky tread shape.

Thank you and I appreciate this but trying to figure out how the tread (not the widest part of the tire, at least I think...) could have an effect. Can you amplify?

Did you end up installing these spacers? Can you confirm that there was no rub?

I decided not to proceed, because of ZHPizza's warning. I measured and things looked very close at best. I didn't really want to get into 10mm spacers.

Yea it depends a lot on the tire even if it's the same size believe it or not... I went from Bridgestones to Hankooks and they were wider. I went from the Hankooks to Dunlops and they were about an inch wider than the hankooks. I just went from the previous generation of Hankooks to the new generation of Hankooks and they are narrower than the previous... when you are trying to get the tire to fill out the wheel well, it really makes it a PITA
