    (Sold): OEM TCU Bluetooth Setup

For sale is a OEM Bluetooth setup. Included is:
    • OEM TCU Unit
    • TCU Mounting Bracket (no hardware)
    • Bluetooth Antenna
    • Antenna Bracket
    • Microphone

    Asking price is $200.

This is the same unit illirep posted on the forum. The mounting brackets I purchased due to my car not having them. Unfortunately while my car is built after 03/02 and states it is prewired for BMW Assist, I do not have the correct wiring to install use it.

I purchased this unit from Whammy, unfortunately the TCU unit is defective (verified by switching with another E46 with known good TCU)

Haven't been able to get ahold of him since our last PM, if anyone can, please reach out to him for me..

He and I are in contact. We are trying to resolve as he bought it from me. It worked fine when I sold it to him 2 months ago. Not quite sure how to resolve

have you tried the supposed defective TCU from whammy in another e46? could be a versioning thing possibly. if its a newer unit and you may be possibly trying to install it into an older production build car causing compatibility issues. Cant discount all possibilities. best of luck!

Yes, unit swapped and a known good unit works on both cars. This unit does not work on either. Both coded properly, etc..
