Drilled/slotted rotors- how noisy are yours?

I've had slotted rotors on previous cars, and don't remember the making much more noise than flat ones. Just put them on, and the tick tick tick is bugging. Are yours ticking?

    Zero noise from the rotors.
Only my race pads make noise... lots of it.

I don't get any ticking from my slotted. You got something stuck in your pads? or dust shields?

I have BMW Performance drilled rotors. I have zero ticking. I get squeaks from time to time, which just means I need to add some anti-squeal compound on the Hawk HPS 5.0 brake pads.

the only noise I get is from them is in my head when I back out of the garage and see them on the shelf (have had a bbk /slotted rotor setup) that has been sitting there waiting to be installed for like 2 years now lol

I have the ECS Tuning drilled/slotted rotors and StopTech Street Performance pads. No noise at all - just some vibration when breaking hard around the 55 Km/h area...probably due to me not bedding the new pads/rotors properly.

I've been getting some of this recently but went away after I swapped to my track pads and did a nice 1st session bedding. The slight noise/vibration has not come back since I swapped back to street pads.

You may need a good bedding in to get it settled.

Yup, thats the plan. Thing is, I need to find a spot in Toronto where I can do 100km/h -> 30km/h 10 times and not get pulled over. Which is like impossible.

    Very true.

One more perk of living where I do... I exit the driveway and can start bedding right away.
