    Thanks guys!

Took apart the headlights tonight to start the TRS retrofit only to see that my headlight bowls were perfect, no burn whatsoever. Most likely going to return the TRS kit or sell it on here if there is interest... Very surprised they weren't burnt with 118K miles. PO must have never drove at night...
Still swapped out the Xenon for the Osram...made a huge difference.

Installed the Khoalty Angel Eyes and we are in business! The front end is officially done!

I bought the wheel from "ledermanz" who is a custom handmade steering wheel fabricator in Latvia. I reached out to him via ebay where he has a lot of wheels posted. Here is a sample link:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/253019679441?ul_noapp=true

You can basically write into him through ebay saying exactly what you want and attach a pic (I did). He'll give you a quote and send you a paypal request for the money. I'd say it took about 2 weeks total to show up at my door. It was $480 to him + 40 import duty paid to UPS when it arrived in the USA. No core deposit to deal with, and it came ready to go with a leather wrapped lower trim. I had him add extra thickness. The quality and finish is of OEM quality.

Overall the price seemed in line with other leather wheel suppliers, and if you search "ledermanz" on google his reviews are stellar across multiple M3 and M5 forums as well as other brands. I was a bit surprised there wasn't much mention of Ledermanz on ZHPMafia, but hoping more people catch on (if they aren't going the alcantara route- Coby Wheel). Hope this helps!

Got my FCABs done this weekend. The driver side was so bad and ripped off leaking oil...

The steering wheel under braking shakes wayy less but there still is some vibration. I’m thinking this could be the original control arms actually need replacing or the brakes/rotors are pretty rusted and may need to be re-bedded.

I'd check your lower control arms for play before swapping them out. Mine were still good at 140k

Dave's Badger ZHP - Maintenance & Project Thread

Been away awhile (over a year) and while I haven't been neglecting the ZHP.. it certainly has not been top priority. Just moved into our newly built house and spent all summer putting in my own paver patio so car work and budget has largely been cut. Major accomplishments were the cooling overhaul and finally addressing the worsening rust bubble on the passenger rear quarter panel. The body shop had to cut out the metal and weld in new to get it done right. Looks brand new again

Update to project file since I’ve been gone:
