Is Meguiars Wheel Brightener too strong for our wheels?

any worries in using Meguiars Wheel Brightener, or is it safe?

I do not know the answer. However, I use three wheel cleaners. P21S wheel cleaner (which you can often find at Amazon.com for half price). Griot's wheel cleaner. And Sonax wheel cleaner.

Does it say "safe for all wheel finishes" ?
Meguires is a solid product. Id assume if you use as directed, and maybe test a small area (even on the back of the rim) you'll be fine.

The Griot's stuff says BBS approved. Haha.

Sonax does not say that but I have seen Phil use it on wheels that are on Porsches, Ferraris, etc. I assume it's safe.

I just use BMW Wheel cleaner. I trust it, well because it's from, BMW.

Pretty sure P21S makes the BMW wheel cleaner. If you can find the P21s gel wheel cleaner, buy that. It has been the best by far in my experience, I haven't tried Sonax but have heard good things. The Citrus/Gel form of P21S is far superior to the original green P21S wheel cleaner.

I have used Meg's Wheel Cleaner before. Works fine

I usually avoid wheel cleaner anyway but if I do use any it is Griot's which like Marcus mentioned is approved by BBS

All of Griot's stuff is really good, expensive, but good. The Undercarriage Cleaner works incredibly well!

I used Meguiars wheel cleaner on my OEM wheels. It started to peel the paint from the wheel.

Stick to P21s, or highly dilute it

I've used P21S and loved it.
Now I just use ONR on the wheels when I'm already washing the car.
