    Tires, '06 ZHP 330i

What tire would you recommend as a substitute for Michelin Pilots that I usually run on my 2006 330i ZHP? Wheels are stock 18". The car is not raced or tracked. Thanks, Jim

This is a brand that you is seldom mentioned here but I am on my second set and I really like them - Sumitomo HTR Z-III. They are also quite cheap and are made in Japan.

    06 330i?

I've heard good things about Firestone Indy 500 tires if you are looking for summer tires. It really depends on your budget and the weather you would be driving the car in among other things.

What's the goal? Cheaper? Do you want more grip? Okay with less grip? All seasons?

If you're looking for something similar then the Continental ExtremeContact Sport should work.

this... i want to try these ones next. they supposedly fixed all of the stability issues with the DW's and they are the closest anyone has come to the PSS.

Been really liking them on the wife's car. Roughly put 7,000 miles on them soo far.

Do me a favor and give the Tire Rack Tire Decision Guide a go. Curious to see what people think about the results.

There's a link on this page:

For the record, though, I'm totally on board with all the previous suggestions. For the money that sumitomo is a great deal.

Thank you for your advice. Sorry for the delay. I am looking for all-seasons performance tires. No track, racing, snow or ice involved. Original tires were Bridgestone Potenzas. Switched to Michelin Pilots. Great except for harsh ride, some times like snow tires with studs. Noisy. Do not want to go cheap. Continental DWSO6 recommended by others. Is this overkill. Suggestions, please. Thank you.
