Thanks for all of the replies. I'm nearing the end of the process with the insurance companies so I should be parting it out soon.

I have it in my garage and I've done some inspections. Everything on the engine looks good and I imagine the drivetrain (automatic) is just fine too since it was a side impact.

The interior is alcantara too, not leather, so I'm hoping that I can find a good home for it.

Anyone want to see a photo? It's heartbreaking

Sorry for your loss man. I know how heartbreaking it is.

Get yourself a replacement ZHP! Plenty of choices out there!

It appears that many ZHP's are somewhere around the 10k -> 12k range from what what's posted in this forum. Is that the general going price US wide for a mostly stock 80k to 120k millage ZHP?

I'm expecting somewhat of a fight with the total loss adjuster to get them to truly grant me the value of the car. They're trying to compare it to a base 330Ci.

    Fuuuuuck.

And it's variable, but $12k is what I would ball park expect to pay for a 80k mile car.

Ok, good, that's what I was expecting. Should I expect that manual transmissions are more, less, or equal to automatic?

    Facelifted variants, same question.

I'm also asking because I want to maximally get what the car is worth through the total loss adjuster I'll be dealing with.

All ZHPs are facelifted. Automatics are usually worth less than manuals, but I would not be surprised if an automatic added value in an adjuster's estimate because it was a more expensive option.
