    What boggles my mind is that the gears look like any other plastic gears we see in an E30 odometer. Those have been known to break all the time..

    i know, right??? same as the plastic gears in the xDrive transfer cases....

    i realize plastic is cheaper, but how much cheaper....?

    The group buy was about $2400 so not that bad considering the sheer amount of carbon fiber. I don't think I will have the heart to spend for it though.

    Hopefully come Christmas I can add some miles to the tune and get impressions on it.
