    Convertible Electric Seat Back Switch

Working on repairing a few of the inop things on the 2005 330Ci Convertible I picked up 2 weeks ago.

One of those items is the switch located high on the seat back (for rear seat entry) that moves the seat forward and back. The passenger side isn't working. The electric seat controls on the seat bottom work fine, so I'm thinking it's the switch or at least a wiring issue, but I haven't torn the seat apart yet.

Anyone ever see this problem? I can't find the switch in RealOEM. It shows the plastic housing, but not the switch. IT's number 2 in the image from the owners manual

And how hard is it to pop that piece off of the seat?

Actually, looks like there are just 2 screws that hold that part on based on this image:

    Thanks Yelkos, that's it!

Funny if you Google RealOEM + 61318099495, you get a diagram that isn't included when I search by my VIN

    THanks again!

I just had to replace the mechanism which connects the release cable to the upper lever shown on the diagram you posted, and it's inside the seat.

It wasn't too bad, just had to remove the back cover to access the mechanism. The plastic push screws holding the back cover in place on the bottom are a pain though, just cut them off as soon as you pull enough of them out. I found replacement screws at my local Lowes.
