I still can’t get over how ridiculously bolstered the E31’s back seats are.

Berry nice. Great work bringing this back to its former glory. I can tell you spent a lot of time on cleaning duties.

Definitely, I really wish I had space to add parts washer. It would speed up the process and be much easier to clean the parts.

Actually, it already is with the new owner. It left my possession last night, went to the same guy that bought the green one, they are restoring them for customers or something.



I'm on the hunt and I just stumbled upon ZHP in Europe! At least at first glance, it looks like it.









I'm trying to get more details but Mystic blue coupe. Exactly what I want. Waiting for VIN to see if it ever went through Copart.

Also, trying to close the deal on this one. I'm in love with it, pre-facelift E38 750iL with Sport contour seats that's in original condition, but don't think it will happen as it's priced too high.

It is a ZHP - S767 Performance Package
But it also has - S863 Dealer List Europe - so maybe it never went to the US? I need to check Carfax.

I’ve seen some pictures where people have kept their grey seats but swapped in the black consoles and carpet and it looks infinitely better. The inverse would be very interesting.

I wouldn't mind grey seats that much and M3 seats would a must in the end.

It's for sale in Austria, 10.800 eur ($12.3k) which is too rich for me and the seller is a complete clueless moron. Whatever I ask about the car his answer is I don't know. He says he bought it 8 months ago, doesn't know the story behind it nor if it has any service history. According to him it's perfect, but it's missing a battery or something like that, I couldn't make sense of it. He said he'll look in the car if there is any service history...

I hate sellers like this so I've given up for now.

Yeah, my silver E38 also has titling upper part of the seat but doesn't have these sport seats that have bigger bolsters and thigh support. Anyway, it didn't work out with that car. We couldn't agree on the price.

My heart is with E38 but I wouldn't mind E32 too. It's just they are hard to come by in decent shape but I'm keeping my eye out. We'll see about the next project, I'm open to anything with or above 6 cylinders.
