Shit happens, washers are like 50 cents just annoying when you need them.

Well, I'm still trying to piece the history of this car together. I know it originally lived in Japan and then in Dubai for some years, just don't know exactly how many. I was also told it served as an official vehicle for Japanese embassy.

Weirdly the headliner is still holding up, looks like they only did a minor repair near the sunroof. But overall doesn't look good and I'll rewrap it in Alcantara.

The C pillars had broken tabs and they tried to glue then and in the process they broke them even more. The also has tint which is a must in Dubai.

Lol, I only used FCP few times and never had issues with them but I keep reading about poor packaging lately.

I haven't had issues either. I think the washers were at least put in a bag IIRC. But there were packages like that with a lot of empty space in them with just a bit of paper stuffed in. Plenty of room for stuff to fly around or the package to get damaged

Well, boys and girls, I already talked about it in previous posts but I finally did it. Here's the final product of my attempt at making a restoration video.

I've been feeling for some time now it was time for a step up. I love posting pictures and write-ups and I'll keep doing it, but I feel it's time to try something new so I stepped out of my comfort zone and went with it. I toyed with a few different ideas on how to go about this and having tried some different formats, I came up with this.

I have never done anything like this and I still have mixed feelings about it. Trying to film yourself feels weird and uncomfortable, also this is my very first time editing so be gentle with me.

That's a fun one, isn't it. : ) Btw, smashing out glued kidney grills was oddly satisfying.

I can imagine. When's the next one coming out?

I looked up the Invo tires. Apparently they are made by Nitto. Pretty low treadwear rating

Ugh, probably not for a while. I'm in the middle of the suspension overhaul and everything is taking 3 times longer when you try to film it. I want to do most of the mechanical work and pack it in part 2.

Yeah, I looked them up later as well.

Waiting for the outside possibility of "what have I done? Let's just scuttle the whole thing and do it as a tax write off"

    Jokes aside, loved the video
