Man, been hot in Frankfurt lately, today it's around 35°C which is hot for Germany. No AC at work and no AC at home which is pretty standard for Germans.

Thanks, Newjack! That would be a first, but we can give it a try.

You really wrapped that properly. I'm wondering how would matte paint hold up...

It would most likely work but I do wanna keep the stock look and feel. That being said I just learned the price for a new one. A pretty pricey piece of plastic.

Man 34-35° is basically a daily occurrence here lately plus a stupid amount of humidity. Can it please be autumn already?

I'd take heat over cold and miserable rain every time. Beginning of September is when the weather goes to shit in Germany. It's been a nice hot summer with little rain so far.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

I said goodbye to the 8er today.

I knew from the start it wouldn't be in my custody for long. I'm left with another regret for not being able to follow through this project and it's the 2nd 850i that I let go without properly enjoying it first.

It's a fantastic car that deserves to be back on road and it went to a very nice guy from Belgium.

The car is on its way to Dusseldorf and Wokke who is a well-known guy in E31 world and expert for the 8 series who will go over the car in detail. It's safe to say it'll be in good hands.

The same guy who brought it to me took it away.

I already have something else cooking so stay tuned.

Is anyone else getting way too attached to these cars? This is an emotional roller coaster...
