My cup holder is rattling, seems like more than it used to. Only rattles when I have my coffee cup in it. If I rest my hand on top of the cup the rattling stops. Anybody else have this issue? Easy fix?

Don’t drink coffe?!
Pull out the assembly to see if the band is still intact around the projections that hold the cup. It might have snapped.

Thanks I'll check that.
Follow up. I pulled out the assembly as John in VA advised. The rubber bands were both intact. I washed the assembly thoroughly, dried and reinstalled. That alone seems to have fixed the rattling. Keeping my fingers crossed it holds up.
My cure for the rattling cup holder:
Trenta Iced Coffee from SBUX.
I have the same rattle when I had a cup in there. I will check it out when I do a full plastic restore in the car. Vibrations from the engine are best cured with new engine mounts, yay or nay?

I replaced my engine mounts a while back. One was completely blown and leaking oil. I still get a little vibration when idling in gear sometimes like when the aux fan kicks on but it's hardly noticeable.
