Conti Extreme Contact come in 3 different styles. DW, Sport and DWS. I have the DW style: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...remeContact+DW

I find they have great traction but are a little squirrelly and they are getting noisy the older they get.

I generally like my Conti ExtremeContact tires (pre-Sport revision) for a few reasons:
    • Good even wear (at least on my '03 330Ci and my father's '98 540i)
    • Longevity
    • Good warm weather grip
    • Good cold weather/water performance - essential for Portland's climate.
    • Good value (I paid <$500 for a set)

DWS are very good in the snow. I rode in a Subaru Outback with them and was amazed at how well they pulled through really deep snow.

Absolutely seems they can wear about anything
