There's a group buy for the 1 and 2 series (18 inch APEX and EC-7s), but you can't do a square set-up unless it's ET45. Oh well

Mmmmmm I'm gonna order a set of 17x9.5
3 days left before the thing closes. 17's are great for track days too, lighter weight and cheaper tires.
I drove a car with 17" PSS and honestly I thought the steering response was spot on compared to my 18" style 135's with PSS.

I also signed up for 17's for my daily. I want to get a bit more comfort with a thicker tire and run a square set up, so I can extend a life of tires.

Good to hear. How do you like them?
Any difference in steering feel?

I can't speak for San, but my impressions of the 17" Apex Arc8 can be read if you scroll down a bit in my first post:

I like the 17”. The ride didn’t improve as much as I thought it would but that’s mostly due to the fact that previously I had style 135s with continental dws 06 tires which have relatively softer sidewall than the Michelin pss that I have currently on my apex 17”. If I had the same tires the ride would be even better.
Steering is much lighter in a good way. Meaning I don’t have to put as much effort to turn the wheels especially at low speeds.
