Weird rattle at fuel filter

Recently I was under my car doing some work on the tranny, and when refilling my tranny fuel, I pinpointed a rattle that I thought was the VANOS ever since I got the car. It is coming from the fuel filter. It sounds exactly like this (It is most audible from 0:35 to the end, i suggest wearing headphones):

I am at just over 88k miles. Fuel filter replaced @ 60.1k miles. Fuel pump & seal replaced @ 70.1k miles. Has anyone every seen or heard this before?

Maybe a rock that's jammed in between the filter and the metal bracket that covers it, but loose enough to rattle around?

Nah definitely not that. I replaced the vacuum line recently and had to remove the cover to do that. Everything seemed normal. Someone on e46fanatics said it might be a loose heat shield. Is there one above the fuel filter?
