Thread: Camber pins

    Camber pins

When pulling the pins up front for added camber, do you need an alignment after or does the pin pull simply just add the same amount of negative camber to both sides with no other impact?

Anyone know the exact amount of camber gained?

    Thanks.

Removing the camber pins allows the camber to be adjusted a certain amount. I don't know the exact amount.

Removing the pins should only be done in conjunction with an alignment. You need to do the alignment to make the camber adjustment any way. Why not check and adjust the toe at the same time?

It's a very small amount. I punched out the pins and was only able to move the strut in 1/16" to 1/8" at most. I'd say at best you pick up 0.2 to 0.3 degrees of negative camber.

I have about -1.5 with stock mounts and removed pins. Verified on the alignment I did right after.
