    Getting close on a Supercharger

    Hello gang -

Getting very close on enhancing my 04 ZHP vert (48k miles) with the VF Engineering supercharger. Looks liek a straight forward installation but I am not a mechanic and really not sure if I want to take the responsibility of not screwing anything up.

Took my car to a local Euro speed shop known for performance enhancements and I was quoted $12-1500. Wondering what others have experienced?

    Thank you

Just verifying, they quoted you $1200-$1500 for install correct?

No idea, I think that sounds right. TSS was selling theirs with free installation, which is how I got mine. Maybe worth looking into.

Twin screw supercharger will give more torque earlier in the powerband but the centrifugal is much easier to install... looks like peak HP claim is about the same
VF website says 8 hr installation time so the low end of your labor quote would be $150 per hour

This sounds about right, something like what 8 hours install?
