Should work just the same. May have to remove some insulation from the CCV valve to get to the port.

BTW, 50'skid makes it 10x more complicated than it actually is. It's just hooking up a 2.5 foot piece of vacuum line.
Thanks, Dave. I hadn't put too much time into researching it before posting. I'm glad to see there are some good additions to the family here who are still helpful.

FYI, my result with the O2 pilot mod was: first top up lasted over 2k miles. Then it went right back down to less than 1k per top up.
The thing that really helped and is still consistently helps me get over 1500 miles per top up is switching to Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 diesel oil. This stuff is pure magic.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Interesting find, BP. I may go to diesel oil myself as I'm closing in on the 300k mark.

    FYI,

Shell Rotella 5w40 diesel oil recently completely changed it's formula. The high magnesium content is gone so your mileage may vary. I'm still using it though but I never had an oil burning issue any way. You could eat off the inside of my tail pipes!
