    Subframe and Diff Bushings

At 115k miles today with suspension fully refreshed. I've had a few shops inspect the subframe and diff bushings and everyone says the are fine, but I was curious what others have seen for useful life for these parts? Also, what would be a reasonable number of hours for an indy shop to charge for all this? I'd just bring my own parts.

    Thanks

    Subframe and Diff Bushings

All of my diff bushings were cracked at 80k and again at 145k. It's impossible to tell if they are cracked without removing the diff. and flexing the bushing.
I can swap a diff in 2 hrs laying on the ground. Probably another hour or so to swap the diff bushings but a shop will probably go by the job book for the hours

I was quoted 4.5 hours of labor to remove and replace the rear diff bushing. That is $441 plus the part.

So if ~4 is shop hours for diff bushings only...add 4 more hours to get the subframe bushings as well?

A lot more is involved with replacing the subframe bushings but they aren't under the same twisting load as the diff bushings... mine are all ok at at 145k

Yes that sounds about right. I just replaced my diff bushings and it took me 2 hours to do the job with the right tool. The subframe bushings are, in my opinion, much more difficult to replace.

Your car looks good, charter21. You may want to post the pic here as well:
