Those of you using the yellow lamin-x, does it make the fogs look green? or do you get a nice deep yellow color out of them?

It's kind of odd that Lamin-x, which presumably specializes in this, hasn't released a film corrected for LED output by now. I didn't expect green.

You know, it looked green to me at first. Now, I'm not really sure... it really does look yellow at times, but you can also see it as slightly green. It's a really tough call.
It does look more yellow to me the more I look at it, but the very first initial impression is greenish yellow. I think slightly greenish yellow is the most accurate description, as my halogen fogs with the yellow film was VERY yellow.
Looks like glow stick yellow...

I kind of wish Morimoto would release a yellow LED version.
The funny thing is that LED's require a yellow tint to the die to create a white light. And then we are using a film to make it yellow again.
I love the output of these fogs though.
Thanks for the pics wolf

I peeled off the LaminX "yellow" and asked the vendor to sell me clear replacement film- they were very helpful (I think I got a deal...). In the process I learned that LaminX is pretty much the way to go with these lights: they are such a small diameter and such a pronounced radius that thinner film (XPel) can't shrink onto them properly.
