    Christmas in August?

Picked up the Avant 3, the Umnitza Orion V4s and a few other morsels. I'll be doing a full engine bay detail tomorrow. I also plan on doing an in-depth review on the Avant once installed. Stay tuned, fellas

Six hours later. I left the trim off to throw in a SIM card tomorrow. In depth explanation of the install and review to come.

I think you're going to have issues getting the SIM to work.

Verizon couldn't give me one because the IMEI didn't show up in this database.

I hope you figure it out so I can take the same route...

For ten bucks, I figured I'd just stick one in there so I can button everything up. If it works great, if not I'll just hotspot my phone in the meantime. Is that what you did or did you pick up a standalone hotspot for the car?

I went to T-Mobile today. They were gonna charge me $27 for the SIM. I pressed a little, told them they had it for $10 on Amazon and they just ended up giving it to me for free. I added 2gb a month for no cost at all as an existing unlimited customer. I can always do 6gb for an extra ten bucks a month if 2gb isn't enough. I'd imagine most carriers are comparable in terms of cost for existing customers.

I dropped it into the sim reader and it fired right up. No issues.

Amazing. 2GB/month should be plenty as long as you're not streaming Netflix on your drives.

    Download that shit on wifi

Dang... I don't understand why Verizon couldn't do the same thing for me. Something about not finding that IMEI in the system so they couldn't add service to it. I had to get a standalone hotspot, which also doesn't quite work because the damn thing turns off after it gets too hot, so I'd have to manually turn it on every time I'd get in the car over the summer...
