Shipping on something like that could be a deal killer. For the E46 wagon I got some Volvo thule racks for 99 on ebay with shipping, I think the guy paid over 30 to ship from CT to NJ.

I have to agree with Warren regarding shipping costs. If you’re not local then unless the purchase price also includes shipping costs... expect to pay more to ship this depending on what you’re getting.
I have a Thule roof rack setup with two bike racks and a fairing and the whole setup is not light when packaged together...

Yeah just the cross bars. I think I've decided to just go with the Yakima set up. Rei is running a labor day sale right now which makes the price slightly lower on them. I was also able to buy a fairing and set of the cross bars off Craigslist since those aren't vehicle specific ill only be buying the towers/mounts new. I also already have bike trays for the Yakima rack. Thanks everyone for the help.
