About to tackle pulleys and belts this weekend! Do I absolutely have to remove the plastic cover on the bottom to do the job? Or can I reach everything from the top after removing fan?

Pulleys can all be done from above. The A/C tensioner is at the lowest point. If you can reach that comfortably then you are good to go.

Thanks!
I’ve been putting off creating a maintenance thread but once I do, I’ll move these posts over.
Changed belts and pulleys this weekend! Engine runs much smoother - no more squeaks and squeals and has a bit more pull (could be in my head). All 3 pulleys were free spinning and tensioners had some rust so timing worked out.

Always good when you can instantly reap the reward of maintenance.
