    Chris from San Francisco

    Hi team,

First off, super impressed with the wealth of information on this forum and general cordiality among members! I'm an engineer at Tesla who is committed to EVs. That said, I'm looking to purchase my last internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle I will ever own, and the E46 has been my favorite vehicle apart from the Model 3!I remember back when it was being sold going into the online configurator and building my dream car, but as a college kid this was out of my price range.

I previously owned a GTI and was meticulous with its care. While I'm not experienced with modifying my vehicles, I look forward to continuing to pamper my ZHP the same way members of this forum have with theirs .

    Currently looking at 2003-2005 ZHP 4dr 6MTs.

I'm sure I'll have lots questions post purchase on how to continue to keep the car in top shape!

    - Chris

Welcome. Yeah I would like to pick up a Model 3, but it doesn't make any sense for me to have 2 cars right now. Especially when I'm not even home all that much to even drive my current E46.

Welcome dude. There's been some good sedans popping up in that area. Definitely check the classifieds here and search Craigslist for 330i. Always a good chance of finding one that isn't listed as a ZHP.

Good suggestion! Will keep the filter open to not just ZHP and see if any slip through.

Welcome and good luck with your hunt. We are a good bunch and guys and gals who treat each other with respect. We ever share recipes and stories about our knitting skills (crochet for some).

Welcome - the 3’s (ZHP & Tesla) definitely pair well together! May have to see if you have an insider connection to get window contols added to the app!

My dream garage!!! Doubling down on the blue I see.

I'll ask the infotainment team if/where this is on the radar. Our list of new features under development is deep, and the top of the list is usually populated with Elon's asks. He gets very into the detail on customer-facing aspects of the car, especially infotainment.
