    M3 or M6 seat upgrade?

Ever since I bought the car I've been on the fence about the seats due to them not having lumbar. I had the chance to sit in some e46's with lumbar and the difference wasn't all that big. I've been reading up on people putting seats from M3's and M6's into sedans without too much modification, so I've been looking into that. I've come to the conclusion that both are fairly plug and play minus the seatbelt rail, but I can't really tell which seats are better.

What I want out of the upgrade:

    -Lumbar and tight bolstering
-Heated seats, I already have CWP so I want to keep that function.
    -Softer cushions
-Good condition leather, no major defects
    -OE look, not too flashy

I've considered aftermarket but for the last reason I'm hesitant. Budget wise I'm fine with 500, but I could spend up to 800 if the M6 seats are really worth it. What are you thoughts on this, and who has experience with either or both?

My car is a 2004 330i ZHP with CWP and black leather. Also i'm 6' 1'' and weigh 160lbs, if one seat fits my body profile better than the other. Thanks for your input.
