updated pics of the Imola sedan

now that the Sedan project is closed and done except for future maintenance.

Took some updated pics for a blog feature on ultimateKlasse a few months ago. the blog feature is now live and is here if anyone cares to read the text with the pictures. below are the updated pics and so happy that i'm finally done with this car and can enjoy it now.

i recently picked up a 2002 OrientBlue Touring to use as a daily and be my next project to convert to a ZHP Touring so now the Sedan isnt getting much miles at all.

its insane how new and tight my Sedan feels when driving the wagon for a few days then driving the Sedan on a friday. it really makes me appreciate all the work put into the car and all the little details.

ahhhh thats the CSL oil level read out. it uses the oil level sensor in the bottom of the oil pan. only the CSL DEM Software can enable that along with a cluster coding option in 2003.5 and above clusters.

its pretty accurate. it takes an average oil reading and always displays that but you can press and hold the sport button and it will give you an instant read out as long as you are on flat ground and have let the engine idle for a minimum of 2 min.

I think that’s the oil level indicator that was available on the CSLs...

I am more amazed by this every time I look at it. This is truly an amazing machine. I told myself I wasn’t going to do much to mine other than maybe wheels and some minor upgrades to brakes and such but now...
