    Coolant hose

Hey all, can you guys give me a part number, or a name for this. It's a sensor housing of some sort. On the passenger side. Connects to lower rad. Looks like one part that's permanent attached to the hose. 05 330i zip 6spd. Thank you

Answered my own question. It's the lower rad hose. What brand is a good replacement?

For hoses I went with OE BMW parts...

Wow, one bmw wants 344.02 plus 9% tax for upper/lower/ t-stat/sensor. That's pretty expensive.

Rein I believe is the OEM supplier.

    Just checked, they are.
I avoid Genuine BMW parts whenever possible as they have serious markup.

Rein is a good option for the hoses. But use a genuine BMW t-stat and fluid.

FCPEuro wants $66.29 for the genuine BMW part 11531436408 & $41.19 for the Rein part. With their lifetime replacement either hose will be the last you'll pay for.
BMW list price is $81.53 & you'll find it for ~$56 from dealers with internet sales depts.

    Rein does lifetime?

I won't ever buy from FCP again, they dicked me pretty hard many years ago.

ECS has always down my right in the past with my vw/audi parts. Plus they have good prices on Rein parts. 126$ plus tax for Rein upper lower hoses, Rein t stat, Febi temp sensor, and bwm coolant. Or $175 to change the Rein t stat to a BMW t stat.

Why use BMWs t stat, and not a Rein? Coolant, yes always factory.
